New Caddie Registration

To become a caddie at Birmingham Country Club you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years old
• Be physically capable of carrying a golf bag for 18 holes
• You must register for and attend a caddie training school
• Pass both the on course and written tests
• Provide a work permit
• Be able to caddy at least 20 days this season
• Be professional both in appearance and attitude
• Ability to work well with others

Training will be held at Birmingham Country Club.  Registration will begin February 1, 2013. Please send an email to Scott Coleman at scottcoleman18@gmail.com and include your name, telephone number, and the class number of the class you you plan to attend. You will receive an email confirmation approximately two weeks prior to the start of your training class. Each training class is limited to 25 candidates. NO EXCEPTIONS.

1. Training Class #1 Tuesday, April  2 – Friday, April 5 - FULL (waiting list only)
2. Training Class #2 Tuesday, April 9 – Friday, April 12 - FULL (waiting list only)
3. Training Class #3 Tuesday, April 16 – Friday, April 19

Class times are 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday – Friday. You must attend all four days of training in order to be eligible to caddie at Birmingham Country Club.

Dress Code: We have a no denim policy at Birmingham Country Club. Please wear khaki pants and a collared shirt to training sessions. Due to the possibility of inclement weather please dress accordingly.
