Guest Information

ARRIVAL

The use of valet and bag drop provided by the club is strongly encouraged.  We also ask that all guests change their shoes in the locker room.

DRESS CODE

All members, their families and guests, and Birmingham Country Club employees shall be attired at all times and in all locations according to the rules adopted by the Board of Directors.  The manner of dress whether specified or not, shall be governed by good taste and be in keeping with the character of the Club.  Failure to comply with these policies will result in the member, child, or guest not being permitted to use the Club’s facilities.

  1. Clubhouse Attire. Proper attire is required at all times in the public areas of the clubhouse for members and their guests. Although a complete list of unacceptable attire is not possible: denim, short shorts, tank tops, graphic tee shirts, clothing baring midriffs and spandex clothing are not considered appropriate attire.  Men's shirts must remain tucked in.  Golf hats are permitted for men in the Grille Room and patio only.  Golf hats are permitted for women in all areas.

 

  1. Golf Course Attire
    Men Golfers:

    In keeping with the tradition of the club, suitable golf attire is required.  Denim, cutoffs, tee shirts, muscle shirts, short shorts, and tennis apparel may not be worn on the golf course. Hats must be worn in the correct position at all times. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Soft spikes must be worn on the course.

    Women Golfers:
    In keeping with the tradition of the club, suitable golf attire is required.  Denim, short shorts, tank tops, halter tops, tennis apparel, and spandex may not be worn on the golf course.  Hats must be worn in the correct position at all times. Soft spikes must be worn on the course.
  2. Swimming Pool Attire:  Persons wearing swimming apparel shall confine themselves to the immediate pool area which includes the pool locker rooms and outside walks from the parking lot to and from the pool area, and the picnic area on the extended deck, but not including the outside patio.  Denim is not permitted.
  3. Tennis Attire. Suitable tennis attire is required.  Swim suits, beachwear, jeans, cutoffs and spandex are not permitted on the tennis courts or in the tennis area.  Only tennis shoes are allowed in the tennis area. No black soled shoes of any kind are permitted.  Denim is not permitted.
